DMCA / Copyright policy
Last updated: April 13, 2026.
MangaZen qualifies for limitations on liability under applicable copyright law only if we follow proper notice-and-takedown procedures. We respect intellectual property rights and respond to notices of alleged infringement that meet legal requirements.
1. Hosting and safe harbor
We are a hosting provider. We do not affirmatively monitor all uploads. We remove or disable access to material when we receive a valid infringement notice or when required by law, consistent with safe-harbor frameworks.
2. Submitting a notice
If you believe content on MangaZen infringes your copyright, send a detailed notice to dmca@mangazen.com including: identification of the work, identification of the material and its URL, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury (as required by law), and your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices may delay processing. If you misrepresent that material is infringing, you may be liable for damages under applicable law.
3. Review timeline
We aim to acknowledge and begin review of qualified notices promptly and, where appropriate, to act within approximately seventy-two (72) hours of receipt, subject to volume, verification, and legal review. Complex cases may take longer.
4. Repeat infringement
We may terminate or suspend accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or our policies, in our reasonable discretion and as permitted by law.
